simply fusion

Today is the one day of the week that I am really having a hard time getting anything done, the day is filled with meetings most of the day.  how do you keep the creative energy flowing?

This AM the kids woke up and were in one of their moods.  I am not going to let them ruin this day!!

I am taking today off, Monday is a staff day off and I haven’t had one in the three months that I have been here.  It felt weird this AM to not wake up and go to the office.  It feels great to be @ the house.  Got some honey do’s to work on around the house.  We are having the staff over Sunday for lunch so Chrissie has me doing some things around the house to get ready.

What do you do on your day off??

On Thursday last week David Herzog was to be in service with us, well that afternoon we had some storms come through and the airport was closed so his flight was canceled. So we rolled in to Plan B. We had a great service. The picture below is one that Erin took, the flags were not orange so there is no way it’s just the flags moving. As we look through all the pictures I will post more of them.

Dear Blog,

I am sorry that I have not spent more time with you this week.  It’s not you, it’s me.  I had so much to do this week to get ready for our services this weekend.  I promise I will spend more time with you this next week.  The family and I are spending the afternoon @ the pool to rest so you get some rest too!!

Overhead Tips

Today is a day off for the church staff, well I rode in with Chrissie this AM so she could figure out the directions so she won’t get lost later this week when she has to ride in by herself.  I am off to go talk to our CFO and see if I can order the video camera that we need!!

What are you doing today??

We are hanging out at BG’s house with some peeps from the church cooking out and just hanging out.  As it starts to get dark we are heading to the country club to watch the fireworks.  Hope the rain holds off!!!

So we are getting settled in to the new house.  Boxes being unpacked.  Pictures hung on the wall and everything else that goes with moving.  It has been great to come home and eat dinner @ home every night this week!!  We have some great things to share about the move but that will have to come in another post.  Right now it’s time to get ready to go to a cookout and fireworks.  Happy 4th of July!!!

We had signed up for DirectTV before finding out that we could get Comcast.  Well we canceled DirectTV on  6-25-08  yet they took $221.35 out of our account on 6-27-08.  I called in this morning to see why they  had not put our $$ back in  our account.  Spoke with Ean Reo #104956 and he stated too me that our service was never really canceled and that is would take 3-5 more days to get our $$ back.  I asked him 7 times to speak with a supervisior before he put me on hold and then hung up on me.  Glad I went with Comcast!!!
